The Beautiful soul

Some images come along  that are so interesting, they beg to be used. I wonder what her name was?  what was her story? Did she travel from England to marry. Her eyes are so piercing that you feel she is looking into your soul...  

and so with that I titled this altered canvas The beautiful soul

Lazy day weekend

Yes I spent nearly the whole weekend in bed , most of it knocked out because of the two day Migraine headache that decided to arrived  Thursday night and like a unwanted guest did not go until Sunday  morning. 

I don't feel bad about lazing about I think sometimes your body just needs a rest from the rushing  and needs time to recoup .... Migraines are about the only thing that knock me out ....Like most Mums I have to be dying with a cold or illness before I stop my rushing about  and even then I work through it... not with a Migraine............ I just have to Surrender!

Not only famous for his horny toad message oil but also his rare and beautiful , red colored weenie dog Ruby, who not only can bark  God save the Queen  but is very good at finding all the toads that escape from the Emporium at night.  Oops I think she missed a few!

Once upon a a midnight dreary , while I pondered weak and weary. Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore. 
While I nodded nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of someone gentle rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
 "Tis some visitor" I muttered,"tapping at my chamber door.
 Only this and nothing more.

there was an old woman who lived

just because .........".she has a toad as a pet and lives in a old run down house in the middle of nowhere ..... but she not a witch" said the young boy as he and his friend walked up to the door on halloween night ... " no she's just a sweet, old lady"
